The answer is… it depends!

Winter is great as the beauty of the area really shines with frozen waterfalls and a lot less crowds. While a lot of the attractions like zip-lining and canoeing are closed, the parks are ALL open!

Spring is great for beauty and perfect temperate weather, and it really doesn’t start to get crowded until summer rolls around. This is the best time to visit the waterfalls as the typical springtime rain makes them breathtaking.

Summer is one of the most popular times to visit – all of the adventure attractions such as canoeing, zip-lining and rock climbing are open, and the weather is great.

Fall may be the most popular and best time to visit the area. With the rolling hills and amazing fall colors it is hard to imagine a better place to be!
